2016 Tin Shui Wai Park Mid-Autumn Lantern Carnival themed “Glamorous Splendor” at lakeside garden in Tin Shui Wai Park features spectacular stage performances and participatory activities weaving with colorful butterflies. Appealing programmes include Chinese traditional dance. Nepalese dance, a cappello, Chinese instrumental ensembles and percussion, diabolo juggling and crustal-ball magic show. oldies singing, as well as superb performances bu young artist. A marvelous 5-meter Zoumadeng (revolving lantern) together
with distinctive butterfly lanterns and large scale red silk lantern shall light up a delightful night.
Spectacular Chinese ethnic dances and songs, acrobatics, demonstrations of Guangdong and Hong Kong folk crafts, music and dance performances, an a cappella performance, a magic show, workshops, a wish-making corner and a lantern quiz.
Also, to promote Chinese ethnic culture among residents and tourists alike, month-long lantern displays with themes are held around the Mid-Autumn Festival.
