Hong Kong : 23 May, 2009 -The area of low pressure near Hainan is bringing thundery showers to the coastal areas of Guangdong. Locally, heavy rain in the afternoon brought more than 70 millimetres of rainfall to Lantau Island and the western part of the New Territories.
Heavy Rain bring road flooding at urban area as the drainage is insufficient to drain away the fast accumulating water on the ground.
