The second one, where you can see the buildings. Nice. You can see all the detail and get a better sense of the size of the storm versus the tall skyscrapers. The first one is just too dark and undetailed.

I think the 2nd one is better. I like the wider landscape size with more scenery which puts the cloud into context. The first one kind of seems like a big atomic bomb mushroom cloud. The second picture gets the point across also but less dramatic.

love them both but if I had to pick, I pick the bottom, the horizontal one
