Rice dumplings (zongzi, 粽子, 糭子) are made for the Tuen Ng Festival(端午節), which falls on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar. Lo Sham Yeung (上海 老三陽 南貨號) is one of the famous shop for selling Shanghai Rice Dumpling, also sell various kind of rice dumplings, price started from HK$6 to HK$68 depending on the filling materials. The most expensive one filled with Abalone, Scallop and Ham.
The Festival also known as The Dragon Boat Festival, but due to heavy rain, I cannot watch the race this year (sorry Andy Li).
